Moal Leech
Moal leeches are tied entirely on a string with a trailer hook at the back. This gives the fly greater action than a fly tied on a rigid hook. More fish are landed with the Moal fly as well.
The Spirit River Fergus' Strung Out Moal Leech sized just for Salmon & Steelhead is the pattern that started the Strung-Out revolution. Tied entirely on a string, the Mother of All Leeches (MOAL Leech) is quite possibly the best leech pattern we have ever fished. Tons of movement, subtle flash, and short shank hook for a drastically increased landing ratio. Give it a shot, we know you'll soon feel the same.
Size 4 - 3 1/4" longThe Moal Leech catches Steelhead in all conditions. Add it to your fly box. You will never look back.
