The Grizzly King wet fly was first invented by James Wilson in 1840.
Grizzly King typically draws a strike soon after landing on the water or at the end of a drift on the swing. It is an attractor fly that mimics aquatic insects as well as terrestrials falling from the stream banks and trees.
For me (Jeff Layton) this has always been a great swinging fly for Rainbows and Brook Trout. Also catches Browns... Also works great in Still Water/Lakes.
